The Master Barber Program is designed to train the student in the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, business skills, and desirable attitudes necessary to obtain licensure and for competency in job entry-level positions in Barbering or a related career field.

The curriculum for students in a school of barbering for a complete course of at least nine (9) Months totaling fifteen hundred (1500) hours of training shall be as follows:

TOTAL HOURS The above hour requirements must be met by each student in each category in order for the earned hours to be accepted by the applicable regulatory agency for examination. The generous portion of miscellaneous hours is to be applied as needed in curriculum related areas or if the student desires to specialize in a specific area. |
Goal: To train students to become licensed practitioners in the field of Master Barber. Students are required to complete fifteen hundred (1500) clock hours of instruction and training as outlined by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers. Each student must complete a course of at least fifteen (15) months and fifteen hundred (1500) clock hours as follows:
