The Harris Hand Barber School nail care program includes instruction in manicures, pedicures and artificial nail application as well as the science of professional nail care, along with the required practical and clinical activities. We will bring your artistry to life with the latest industry trends and techniques. At the end of the nail technician program, you will be fully prepared to take the state licensing examination.

600 total hours
- Harris Hand Barber College Cosmetology School offers an exciting 600-hour nail care program for licensure where you can become a licensed esthetician technician. The program is divided into levels to equal the 600-hours total.
- The student must complete Level one of the nail program and pass an exam with 75% or
higher before they can proceed to the second level. - After a student completes 600, services, exams and fulfills all financial obligations to the
school, a certificate will be awarded. - Completion time depends on the schedule the student chooses and attends regularly. Based on a 27.5 hour per week schedule, the normal time frame of completion would be 6.5 months or 22 weeks. The other schedule is a 19.5 hour per week schedule so the normal time frame of completion would be 7 months or 31 weeks.
